HBX Group is a leading independent B2B travel technology marketplace, delivering scalable, secure software for millions of travel transactions worldwide. We are seeking a seasoned Software Developer to join our global engineering team, working on large-scale distributed systems and cloud-ready solutions.

You will collaborate across cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deliver high-quality software, enhancing performance, reliability, and security across HBX platforms.

Formación

• 5+ years of commercial software development experience in e-commerce or high-transaction environments.
• Strong proficiency in .NET Core and C#.
• Professional knowledge of Node.js and Angular.
• Experience with SQL Server and NoSQL databases.
• Experience designing, developing, testing, and delivering scalable distributed systems.
• Experience with REST and/or SOAP APIs using JSON/XML.
• Experience with TDD/BDD and CI tools.
• Understanding of full SDLC and production support.

The Role

We are seeking a talented and passionate Software Developer to join our growing engineering team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on innovative, large‑scale distributed systems while contributing to the design, development, and delivery of high‑quality software solutions.

You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to build and enhance products that support our global business, while continuously improving performance, reliability, scalability, and security across our platforms.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Software Developer, you will be involved throughout the software development lifecycle, including:

What We're Looking For

Essential Experience & Skills

• Minimum 5 years of commercial software development experience, ideally within an e‑commerce or high‑transaction environment.
• Strong proficiency in .NET (Core) and C#.
• Professional knowledge on NodeJS and Angular
• Experience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases, such as SQL Server and modern NoSQL solutions.
• Solid understanding of software engineering best practices, design patterns, and principles for building scalable and maintainable distributed systems.
• Experience developing and consuming APIs (REST and/or SOAP) using formats such as JSON and XML.
• Experience with Test‑Driven Development (TDD) and/or Behaviour‑Driven Development (BDD) using frameworks such as xUnit or NUnit.
• Familiarity with Continuous Integration tools such as TeamCity, Jenkins, GoCD, or similar platforms.
• Knowledge of the full software development lifecycle from requirements through to production support.

Desirable Experience

• Experience working within Agile development environments.
• Experience collaborating with distributed or geographically dispersed teams.
• Understanding of low‑latency, high‑concurrency, distributed systems and the challenges associated with building them.
• Experience developing cloud‑native applications.
• Hands‑on knowledge of a major cloud platform such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
