Kraken Pro is seeking a Social Media Lead to drive our social channels with sharp content creation and a data-driven mindset. You will own platform-native content, engage with a global crypto community, and translate product updates into compelling narratives.

• Identify trends and reactive moments; craft timely, on-brand content.
• Engage with the Kraken Pro community; reply, quote, poll, meme to foster dialogue.
• Build and maintain a content calendar: create posts, route approvals, schedule, publish, monitor.
• Translate product and ecosystem news into clear narratives.
• Track growth and performance; iterate based on insights and experiments.
• Coordinate with Legal/Comms to ensure compliant, aligned messaging.

The opportunity

We’re seeking a chronically online, Social Media Lead to drive Kraken Pro social channels. At Kraken, understanding our brand ethos, mission, and the communities we serve is essential and social is at the forefront of that. We’re looking for someone who moves fast but thinks long-term, thrives under pressure, and knows how to launch new products while creating ecosystem content that cuts through the noise. This role demands sharp content creation skills, an analytical mindset, and a self-starter attitude.

• Craft scroll-stopping, platform-native content for X, Telegram, and beyond to maximize impact and reach for Kraken Pro.
• Win the moment. Spot trends and reactive moments across CT/FinTwit and broader social, then rapidly craft timely, on-brand content.
• Be the heartbeat of the community. Actively engage with the Kraken Pro audience. Reply, quote, poll, meme, and foster meaningful conversation.
• Run an always-on calendar. Build and maintain a content calendar: create posts, route for approvals, schedule, publish, and monitor performance.
• Integrate key updates. Translate product and ecosystem news into clear, compelling narratives.
• Measure what matters. Track growth and performance and iterate based on insights and experiments.
• Ship responsibly. Partner with Legal/Comms to ensure compliant, accurate, and aligned messaging across regions and platforms.

What You’ll Bring

• Receipts. Posts you wrote that broke out, on a brand account or your own or that you manage. We care more about what you've made than where you've worked.
• 3+ years in social or content, ideally fintech, crypto, or trading. Exceptional portfolios beat exceptional résumés here.
• Speed under pressure. Markets don't wait for approval cycles and neither do you.
• High AI competency. Enabling you to multiply your impact and keep up with demand.
• Range as a maker. Copy, memes, short-form video, charts, threads. You don't need a design queue to get a post out.
• Taste. Knowing when not to post is as valuable as knowing when to.
• Comfortable handling high-paced social channels
• Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
• Creative and detail-oriented, with the ability to produce visually appealing content - whether it be briefing the design team, using Figma or being scrappy on CapCut
