Formación

At CORUS we are looking for a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our IT Operations team on an international project.

Location : 100% remote from Spain

Objectives
  • Measure and optimize system performance through the implementation and management of an appropriate monitoring system
  • Ensure the availability and reliability of systems
  • Ensure quick service recovery in case of incidents and identify / resolve the root cause
  • Provide engineering support in the implementation of distributed and Cloud systems
Responsibilities
  • Collect and analyze metrics from systems and applications to identify and resolve issues and optimize behavior
  • Collaborate with the application development team to improve services through testing and release / deployment processes
  • Participate in system design and contribute to resource monitoring (capacity planning)
  • Contribute to solution design with a future management (Operations) perspective, including complex mixed architectures (on-premise / Cloud)
  • Manage activities for identifying and resolving IT incidents with the goal of quickly restoring services (incident management)
  • Conduct analysis sessions to identify the primary cause of IT incidents (problem management)
Requirements
  • Degree in scientific disciplines
  • Experience in the analysis and development of software applications, with preference given to knowledge of Python, .NET, Java, Oracle PL / SQL
  • In-depth knowledge of distributed and Cloud systems, with preferred qualifications including knowledge of AWS and Azure Cloud, Linux and Microsoft systems, relational databases, Kubernetes, OCP, EKS
  • Proactive approach in identifying potential issues and areas for system improvement
  • Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, etc.) and DevOps methodology
