A leading technology firm is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join their Platform Engineering team. The role focuses on creating scalable and reliable software solutions using Kubernetes while improving system performance through automation. The ideal candidate has strong programming experience (C, C++, Go, or Rust) and a solid understanding of SRE principles. This is a permanent remote position based in Spain, offering a unique opportunity to influence technical direction in a major retail company.

Formación

• Strong experience in one or more programming languages: C, C++, Go (Golang), or Rust.
• Background in deploying and managing large-scale distributed systems.
• Solid understanding of SRE principles including monitoring, alerting, and incident analysis.

We are looking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join a leading company’s Platform Engineering team. You will focus on building scalable, reliable systems and improving platform performance through automation and solid engineering practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable, and reliable Kubernetes-based software.
• Participate in the full development lifecycle, from requirements and design to deployment and maintenance.
• Perform code reviews and support knowledge sharing within the team.
• Contribute to architectural discussions and help shape the technical roadmap.
• Reduce operational toil through automation and continuous improvement.

Profile

• Strong experience in C, C++, Go (Golang), or Rust.
• Background in deploying and running large-scale distributed systems.
• Solid understanding of SRE principles: monitoring, alerting, error budgets, incident analysis, and reliability practices.
• Proactive, reliable, and comfortable working in an agile environment.
• Willing to collaborate with international teams.
