N26 is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer for the Continuous Deployment Team within Platform Engineering. The role focuses on powering CI/CD, shaping CD strategy, and improving security, with a cloud-first, highly automated environment.

You will work across Linux-based systems, IaC, and modern CI/CD tooling, mentoring peers and influencing the roadmap while ensuring resilient deployments.

Formación

• Proficiency in at least one high-level programming language (Python, Go, TypeScript, Kotlin).
• Strong Linux/Linux networking, containerization, and security fundamentals.
• Cloud experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure; primary AWS used.
• Experience building and supporting scalable CI/CD pipelines (trunk-based development or GitHub Flow/Actions).

Responsabilidades

• Maintain, implement, and optimise the systems powering CI/CD at N26.
• Shape and influence CD strategy to speed up feature delivery.
• Improve security and compliance posture of systems.
• Implement security and compliance checks as a service within the CD pipeline.
• Standardise pipelines and raise autonomy for users.
• Mentor engineers and improve engineering practices.
• Contribute to roadmap definition and prioritisation for the group.
• Monitor incidents and production deployments for stability.

We\u2019re looking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join the Continuous Deployment Team within our Platform Engineering Segment.

In This Role, You Will

• Maintain, implement, and optimise the systems and applications that power CI/CD at N26
• Shape and influence N26\u2019s CD strategy, empowering development teams to deliver features faster
• Improve the security and compliance posture of our systems
• Implement security and compliance checks as a service within our CD pipeline offering
• Standardise our pipelines and raise the level of autonomy for our users
• Mentor other engineers and help improve our ways of working and engineering practices
• Take an active part in roadmap definition and prioritisation for our group
• Stay on top of incidents and production deployment issues, ensuring stable and predictable delivery.

Must Have

What you need to be successful:

• Experience with at least one high-level programming language and its ecosystem. We use Python, Go, TypeScript, and Kotlin in our daily work.
• A good understanding of Linux, particularly networking, containerisation, and security. We operate in Unix-like environments every day.
• Experience with cloud service providers, ideally a hyperscaler such as AWS, GCP, or Azure. Our primary cloud provider is AWS.
• Experience planning, building, and supporting scalable CI/CD pipelines using trunk-based development or GitHub Flow and Actions. Outside of mobile release constraints, we aim to deliver every change to production in minutes, not days.

Nice To Have

• Experience working in strict security- and compliance-oriented environments. Every action and change we make must be secure, traceable, and compliant \u2014 first and foremost.
• Experience planning, building, and supporting scalable CD pipelines using trunk-based development or GitHub Flow. Outside of mobile release constraints, we aim to deliver every change to production in minutes, not days.
• A good understanding of integrated CD platforms such as GitHub Actions or GitLab CI/CD. Our main pipeline driver is GitHub Actions.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform (OpenTofu), Ansible, or Salt. Almost all of our infrastructure is managed as code \u2014 no manual magic.
• Good knowledge of Kubernetes administration. Most of our workloads run on EKS, with a few exceptions.
