Speechify is seeking a skilled Windows desktop developer to lead architecture and implementation for our Windows product line. You will work across design, development, QA, and product to deliver reliable, accessible, and high-performance software.

You should have extensive experience with Windows App SDK, WinUI, C#, XAML, and ideally C++ interop. Join a distributed, fast-moving team building tools used by millions of users worldwide.

Formación

• 3+ years in Windows desktop app development with Windows App SDK, WinUI (or similar) and C#, XAML.
• Strong understanding of Windows app architecture including interop between managed and native code.
• Proven track record shipping production-grade desktop apps with emphasis on reliability and performance.
• Experience with accessibility APIs and building inclusive software.
• Solid software engineering fundamentals: OOP, patterns, data structures, algorithms, memory management, and multi-threading/async.

Responsabilidades

• Lead design, architecture, and development of native Windows desktop apps using Windows App SDK and C#/XAML with optional C++.
• Define and enforce best practices for code architecture, performance, and maintainability across the platform.
• Drive accessibility efforts: keyboard navigation, screen-readers, and accessible controls.
• Collaborate with product designers, QA, and engineering teams to shape feature planning and long-term roadmap.
• Own end-to-end feature lifecycle from conception to release and maintenance.
• Diagnose and resolve complex performance and compatibility issues with robust solutions.
