Ubisoft Barcelona is seeking a Senior UX Designer to shape player experiences for Rainbow Six Siege. You will design intuitive, scalable UX and work with designers, UI artists, product owners, and developers to deliver engaging experiences for both new and veteran players.

You will translate complex systems into clear interactions, mentor junior designers, and contribute to UX guidelines while leveraging player research and feedback to drive design decisions.

Formación

• 6+ years of professional UX design experience, within the gaming industry.
• Experience designing in-game UX, including interaction design, HUD/UI, onboarding, and tutorials.
• Experience designing complex digital products, live-service games, or multiplayer experiences.
• Strong portfolio showing end-to-end UX design with measurable impact.
• Proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.
• Strong usability, accessibility, and interaction design knowledge.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management.
• Ability to balance player needs, business goals, and technical constraints.

Job Description

Rainbow Six Siege is looking for a UX Designer to help shape the player experience of one of the world's leading tactical multiplayer games. In this role, you will design intuitive, engaging, and scalable user experiences that support both new and veteran players throughout their journey. You will work closely with game designers, UI artists, product owners, and developers to create experiences that are accessible, efficient, and aligned with the strategic and competitive nature of Siege.

Responsibilities

• Define end-to-end user journeys for the game areas owned by Barcelona studio.

• Present design solutions and rationale to stakeholders at all levels.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional UX design experience, within the gaming industry.
• Demonstrated experience designing in-game UX, including interaction design, player feedback systems, HUD/UI elements, communication systems, onboarding, tutorials, and gameplay mechanics support.
• Proven experience designing complex digital products, live-service games, or multiplayer experiences.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end UX design process and measurable impact.
• Proficiency with industry-standard design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.
• Strong understanding of usability, accessibility, and interaction design best practices.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to balance player needs, business goals, and technical constraints.

Nice to have

• Experience working on AAA games, competitive multiplayer titles, or live-service products.
• Passion for tactical shooters and deep understanding of Rainbow Six Siege and its player community.
• Knowledge of player behavior, progression systems, social features, and retention mechanics.
