HCLTech seeks a Senior UX Designer to craft seamless mobile experiences for iOS and Android. You will lead design initiatives within established systems, simplify complex journeys, and apply AI tools to enhance workflows.

You will collaborate with data analysts, product managers, and developers, maintain design systems, and communicate findings in English (C1). A strong portfolio and 6+ years of mobile UX design are required.

Formación

• Minimum 6 years of experience in UX design with a mobile product portfolio (iOS and Android).
• Expert proficiency in Figma and design system management.
• Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools (Cursor) into design workflows.
• Experience simplifying complex journeys across multiple teams.
• Comfort working with data analysts and interpreting quantitative data.
• Experience conducting user research and usability testing.
• Excellent English communication (C1).
• Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).

Detailed Responsibilities

• Lead UX design projects for mobile platforms (iOS and Android), ensuring exceptional user experience and alignment with business objectives.
• Utilize expert-level Figma skills to create, iterate, and finalize high-fidelity prototypes and design assets.
• Incorporate AI tools (such as Cursor or similar) into the design workflow to optimize efficiency and ideation.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including data analysts, product managers, and developers, to translate quantitative insights into actionable design improvements.
• Simplify complex user journeys that span multiple teams and touchpoints, maintaining clarity and usability.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to validate design solutions and drive user-centric innovation.
• Maintain and enhance established design systems, ensuring consistency and scalability across products.
• Communicate design concepts, rationale, and findings effectively in English (C1 proficiency required).
• Operate autonomously, quickly adapting to ongoing projects with minimal onboarding.

Skill Requirements

• Minimum 6 years of experience in UX design, with a strong portfolio of mobile product work (iOS and Android).
• Expert proficiency in Figma and design system management.
• Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools (e.g., Cursor) into design workflows.
• Proven experience simplifying complex journeys across multiple teams.
• Comfort working with data analysts and interpreting quantitative data.
• Experience conducting user research and usability testing.
• Excellent communication skills in English (C1 minimum).
• Ability to work independently and rapidly pick up in-flight projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).

• Experience designing for teenagers or within institutional education contexts.
• Understanding of progress, motivation, and responsible gamification principles.
• Experience shipping localized products across multiple UI languages.
• Accessibility expertise and knowledge of inclusive design standards.
• Familiarity with GDPR, FERPA, or other regulations related to products for young people.
• Experience supporting quantitative experiments and A/B testing.
