Job summary

Gameloft is seeking a UI/UX artist to create user-interface assets and menus for multiplatform games. You will help shape the visual narrative under the UI/UX Director, collaborating closely with UX, design, engineering and art teams across tablet, mobile, PC and consoles.

You will bring strong composition, color and typography skills, with Photoshop and photomontage expertise. Independent, proactive, and able to work well in a team, you will stay current with visual trends.

Qualifications

• Proven skills in composition, color, and production for UI/UX assets.
• Strong typography experience and typography decisions for interfaces.
• Proficiency with Photoshop and photomontage for asset creation.
• Experience drawing and refining with a graphics tablet.
• Ability to frame layouts and craft camera-like compositions.
• Proactive, able to work independently and in teams.
• Solid understanding of current visual trends in media.

Responsibilities

• Join the award-winning creation team to design UI/UX assets and menus for multiplatform games.
• Support art direction and enhance the visual narrative of the game.

Job Description

Are you interested by video games and have a passion for this industry?

Join our award winning creation team and take part in creating user-interface assets and menu designs for our multiplatform games.

Your work will leverage the art direction, dress up the user-experience flow and enhance the visual narrative of the game.

Working under the supervision of the UI/UX Director you will be a key part of the art production, collaborating with the user-experience and design teams. You will be working alongside experts in various disciplines, ranging from engineering to design, art and UX.

Your work will take you on a technological, design and artistic journey across all gaming hardware platforms: from tablet and mobile to PC and home-consoles.

Qualifications

• Solid experience in composition, colour and production.
• Solid experience in typography.
• Solid expertise in Photoshop.
• Solid expertise in photomontage and 2D special effects.
• Solid expertise in drawing and touching up using a graphics tablet.
• Able to produce original graphical compositions (framing, camera angles, etc.).
• Ability to take graphical initiative is desired and appreciated.
• Proactive and able to work independently.
• Able to work in a team.
• Very good general knowledge of visual and graphical trends (TV, movies, web, games, etc.).

Assets:

• Portfolio demonstrating your sense of artistry and finesse.
• High level of English appreciated.
• Finesse and high quality of work are expected.
