ICEYE in Valencia, Spain is seeking a Software Engineer for Unmanned Aircraft to develop and maintain the UAV software stack from embedded avionics to ground tooling.

You'll integrate COTS and custom avionics, contribute to HITL/SITL, and participate in flight tests, turning real-world data into software improvements. The role is hybrid with security screening.

Formación

• 5+ years of relevant work experience.
• Strong C, C++, Python programming skills.
• Experience with embedded software and avionics communication protocols.
• Hands-on product deployment and debugging experience.
• Knowledge of CAN, Ethernet, SPI, I2C, UART interfaces.

Responsabilidades

• Design and implement software for a UAV system.
• Integrate COTS and custom avionics into UAV platform.
• Develop C2 segment for UAV system.
• Develop HITL and SITL simulation systems.
• Understand airworthiness requirements.
• Analyze operational needs and improve operations.
• Develop verification procedures.
• Participate in flight tests and data analysis.
