Job summary

BME - Bolsas y Mercados Españoles, part of SIX, invites applications for a Senior Treasury Controller based in Madrid with up to 40% remote work. You will oversee treasury controlling, reporting, forecasting and KPI analysis.

You bring at least 5 years in treasury or financial controlling, strong Excel, Power BI/Tableau, and fluency in English and Spanish.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting; CFA/CTP a plus.
Min 5 years of experience in Treasury Controlling or Financial Controlling.
Strong analytical skills with financial reporting, forecasting and cash management.
Advanced Excel and reporting tools like Power BI/Tableau; fluent in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

Oversee clearing and post trading related to client payments and liquidity management; focus on P&L reconciliation and controls.
Provide oversight of treasury activities including cash management, investments, and FX with emphasis on accuracy and governance.
Lead treasury reporting, planning and forecasting with timely liquidity insights.
Develop Treasury data/analytics; establish data foundation for ad hoc analyses and KPI reporting; monitor KPIs and investment performance.
Ensure accuracy and integrity of treasury data, reports and reconciliations through strong controls.
Perform treasury accounting tasks and prepare timely financial reports for senior management and regulators.
