Job summary

AST SpaceMobile is seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager for the Composite Structures Engineering team. You will oversee project execution, maintain integrated plans, coordinate with leadership and suppliers, and manage risk for multiple initiatives.

Required: a Bachelor's in mechanical or aerospace engineering with 3+ years in project management. PMP and data analytics tools experience are preferred. Travel internationally is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or aerospace engineering required.
• 3+ years of project management experience.
• PMP or similar certification preferred.
• Experience with data analytic tools (Tableau, PowerBI).
• Knowledge of AS9100 and aerospace quality standards preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads development, coordination, scheduling, and change management of integrated project plans.
• Maintains metrics related to project plans and progress.
• Conducts risk assessments and documents risk handling plans.
• Coordinates data, updates tasks, and tracks status of programs and supplier commitments.
• Creates reports on performance variances, project status, and changes for the team and leadership.
• Communicates plan changes and recovery plans to stakeholders.
