Shipco Transport Inc. seeks an experienced Technical Architect to define and drive architecture for enterprise platforms. You will design cloud‑native, full‑stack applications and polyglot data platforms across Java, Angular, and React stacks.

You will govern relational and NoSQL databases, optimize performance, and ensure high availability with scalable data models. Cloud deployments (AWS/GCP/Azure) and DevOps practices are central to this role.

Formación

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
10+ years in software engineering with 4+ years in architecture.
Expertise in full‑stack enterprise apps using modern frameworks (Java, Angular, React).
Strong proficiency in relational and NoSQL databases (MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, Cassandra, MongoDB).
Deep understanding of data modeling, distributed systems, and integration patterns (APIs, messaging, event‑driven).
Experience architecting cloud solutions (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
Familiarity with DevOps, Docker/Kubernetes, and data streaming (Kafka, Spark).
Scripting/automation (Python, Ansible).
Architecture certifications (TOGAF, AWS/Azure) preferred.

Responsabilidades

Own end‑to‑end architecture of cloud‑native, full‑stack enterprise applications.
Define microservices, API‑first, and event‑driven patterns; establish standards.
Govern data architecture across relational, distributed, and document stores.
Tune performance, monitor resources, and resolve bottlenecks.
Design replication, clustering, and failover for high availability.
Champion CI/CD and containerization across teams.
Lead design reviews and mentor development teams.
