Engineering System & Support (ESS) builds the shared foundations that make game development smoother: reliable CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, repository services, build tooling and developer workflows. Your role within the Kingdom As a Senior Systems Engineer (Developer Experience & Infrastructure), you'll improve the platforms developers rely on every day—making them faster, more reliable and easier to use.

What You'll Do:

• Elevate Developer Experience: Design, build, and support self-service platform tools and automated workflows that speed up developer feedback loops.
• Scale Infrastructure: Maintain and modernize our Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and containerized build systems across multi-OS and cloud environments.
• System Design & Reliability: Shape platform architecture, strengthen monitoring, and troubleshoot complex distributed services.
• Collaborate & Mentor: Partner closely with game teams across multiple locations, write clear platform documentation, and share knowledge across the engineering community.

Skills to create thrills

• Production Linux Expertise: Solid experience managing and troubleshooting Linux systems (e.g., Debian/Ubuntu) in production or high-availability settings.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Hands-on experience automating infrastructure provisioning using tools like Terraform, Puppet, or similar frameworks.
• Cloud & Container Orchestration: Practical experience working with major cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Automation & Scripting: Proficiency in at least one scripting language (e.g., Bash, Python, Groovy, or PowerShell) to eliminate toil and automate pipelines.
• Version Control Fundamentals: Solid understanding of Git workflows and modern developer ecosystems.
• Collaborative Mindset: Strong communication skills, structured task prioritization, and a passion for supporting fellow developers.
• Managed services operations? Own github.int and github.com, artifactory, perforce, builbuddy, buildkite, "product ownership".

Bonus Points (Nice to Have, Not Required!)

• Experience maintaining complex CI/CD pipelines across multi-OS environments (Linux, macOS, Windows).
• Familiarity with build optimization or repository management tools (e.g., Artifactory, SonarQube, Incredibuild, or Veertu Anka).
• Exposure to cloud-native monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, or Splunk).
• Security awareness: An understanding of platform security and software supply-chain practices.
