SMX Services & Consulting, Inc. is seeking an experienced software engineer to design and implement scalable enterprise applications.

You will work with C#, .NET Core/.NET 6+, ASP.NET Core, RESTful APIs, and EF Core while embracing cloud-native and distributed system patterns. You will collaborate across frontend and backend teams, contribute to architecture decisions, and apply AI-powered tools to accelerate development.

Formación

• 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering or application development.
• Strong hands-on experience developing scalable enterprise applications using C#, .NET Core/.NET 6+, ASP.NET Core, RESTful APIs, Entity Framework Core, LINQ, and modern software engineering best practices in cloud-native and distributed environments.
• Experience building RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Experience with frontend development frameworks such as React, Angular, or similar is a plus.
• Experience with cloud-native development using AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases, including performance optimization and data modeling best practices.
• Strong understanding of software design patterns, clean architecture principles, data structures, and algorithms.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and source control tools such as Git, GitHub, GitLab, or Azure DevOps.
• Practical experience leveraging AI-powered engineering tools to accelerate software development, debugging, refactoring, test automation, and technical documentation while maintaining high standards for code quality, security, and maintainability.
• Ability to independently lead complex technical initiatives and contribute to architecture and technical design decisions.
• Strong collaboration, communication, and technical leadership skills.
• Bilingual English and Spanish communication capabilities.
• This position must be remote from Guadalajara

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering or application development.
• Strong hands-on experience developing scalable enterprise applications using C#, .NET Core/.NET 6+, ASP.NET Core, RESTful APIs, Entity Framework Core, LINQ, and modern software engineering best practices in cloud-native and distributed environments.
• Strong programming experience in one or more modern languages such as C#, Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Go, or similar.
• Experience building RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Experience with frontend development frameworks such as React, Angular, or similar is a plus.
• Experience with cloud-native development using AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases, including performance optimization and data modeling best practices.
• Strong understanding of software design patterns, clean architecture principles, data structures, and algorithms.
