Arup is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer in Madrid, Spain, to lead structural design for complex infrastructure projects. You will engage with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams, delivering high‑quality calculations, drawings, and reports.

The role emphasizes Eurocode proficiency, BIM/digital workflows, and collaboration across Europe. A Master’s in Structural Engineering and 8–10 years’ experience are required; Spanish/English fluency is essential, with additional languages

Formación

Master’s degree in Structural Engineering or equivalent.
8–10 years of experience in structural design on infrastructure projects (Spain or Europe).
Proficient with Eurocodes.
Strong experience in structural and numerical analysis using industry‑standard software.
Experience coordinating BIM and digital workflows.
Knowledge of Sofistik is a plus.
Fluent in Spanish and English; other languages welcomed.

Responsabilidades

Lead and deliver structural design packages for complex infrastructure projects.
Collaborate with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams.
Perform advanced structural analyses and produce calculations, drawings, specifications, and reports.
Manage work packages across multiple projects and proposals.
Mentor junior colleagues and contribute to knowledge sharing.
