As a Senior Software Engineer, you’ll join a distributed engineering team shaping the foundation of a global identity and risk management platform that supports millions of users trading billions in assets. You’ll design and scale the systems that power onboarding, verification, and account management for individuals and businesses worldwide. This role combines deep technical challenges with real-world impact, allowing you to influence architecture, lead high-impact projects, and drive automation across a complex, cloud‑native environment. Accountabilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services powering identity verification, onboarding, and account management systems.
• Build scalable and reliable architectures that ensure data integrity, performance, and security at a global level.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with other teams to improve system interactions and ensure seamless service integration.
• Contribute to architectural and strategic technical decisions to support rapid scaling and system reliability.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well‑tested code following modern engineering best practices.
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting to maintain high‑quality software standards.
• Take ownership of projects from conception to deployment, proactively identifying technical challenges and proposing solutions.
• Participate in incident response and on‑call rotations when needed for critical engineering operations.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience working on backend systems at scale.
• Proven experience building and maintaining microservices in production environments.
• Strong programming skills, preferably in Go, with a focus on clean, efficient, and testable code.
• Solid understanding of domain‑driven and event‑driven design principles.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, containerization, and modern orchestration tools.
• Experience working with cloud platforms (preferably Google Cloud Platform) and relational databases such as PostgreSQL.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset and ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and self‑management skills in a remote‑first environment.
• Nice‑to‑have: experience in financial services, KYC systems, message brokers, or external API integrations.
