Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join a remote, partner-based evaluation program. You will assess the quality of AI coding interactions produced by tools like OpenAI Codex, Claude Code, and Cursor, focusing on usefulness, accuracy, and developer experience.

The role emphasizes critical thinking, clear feedback, and the ability to articulate practical standards for AI-assisted software engineering.

Qualifications

• Senior, Staff, or Principal-level software engineer.
• Strong background in TypeScript, JavaScript, or Python.
• Hands-on experience using at least one of OpenAI Codex, Claude Code, or Cursor.
• Deep familiarity with modern AI-assisted software development workflows.
• Ability to evaluate code and technical responses without executing the code.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI-generated coding interactions from start to finish, including responses, explanations, and recommendations.
• Assess usefulness, correctness, and alignment with engineering judgment.
• Review explanations and reasoning quality, not just syntax.
• Provide clear, detailed feedback explaining strengths and gaps.
• Record short video explanations to communicate findings.
