Keysight Technologies, ubicado en Barcelona, busca un Arquitecto de Software Senior y Líder técnico para dirigir la arquitectura de PathWave Test Sync Executive. El candidato trabajará con equipos globales y aportará visión técnica, orientación y desarrollo hands-on.

Se requiere amplia experiencia en C++ moderno, sistemas de tiempo real y software embebido, con capacidad para influir en múltiples productos y mantener altos estándares de diseño de API y CI/CD en un entorno híbrido.

Formación

• 10+ años de desarrollo de software, 5+ años en arquitectura de software
• Fuerte experiencia en C++ moderno
• Experiencia con sistemas en tiempo real o de alto rendimiento
• Experiencia en sistemas de gran tamaño y complejidad
• Desarrollo cross-platform (Windows y Linux) y diseño de APIs

Responsabilidades

• Ser dueño de la arquitectura y visión técnica de PathWave Test Sync Executive
• Alinear la arquitectura e integración entre productos y equipos
• Mentorizar y liderar un equipo de I+D en Barcelona
• Contribuir de forma práctica al desarrollo de características clave
• Liderar la colaboración entre equipos distribuidos (Barcelona, India, EE.UU.)

The Role We're hiring a Senior Software Architect & Technical Lead to own the architecture of PathWave Test Sync Executive - our platform for real-time synchronization and interoperability across Keysight instruments, used in domains such as quantum computing, electronic warfare, and O-RAN test. We're looking for someone who thinks at the system level but isn't afraid to get hands-on - an architect who can quickly grasp a complex technical vision, make it their own, and implement it with autonomy and sound engineering judgment - whether that means evolving an existing system or shaping a new one. Based in Barcelona, hybrid (minimum 2 days/week on-site).

What You’ll Do

• Own the software architecture and technical vision for PathWave Test Sync Executive
• Align architecture and integration strategy across multiple products and teams
• Challenge requirements and propose alternatives when a better technical approach exists
• Mentor and provide technical leadership to a growing R&D team in Barcelona
• Contribute hands-on to development of key features
• Drive cross-team technical collaboration across a globally distributed organization (Barcelona, India, US)

What We’re Looking For

• Required 10+ years of software development, including 5+ years in software architecture
• Strong expertise in modern C++
• Experience with low-level or performance-critical systems (real-time, synchronization, hardware drivers, or embedded systems)
• Deep experience working on large-scale, complex software systems - owning significant parts of the design, not just individual features
• Cross-platform xbhjioe development (Windows and Linux)
• Strong API design skills
• Experience with CI/CD and modern development workflows and toolchains
• Strong communication skills - able to influence across teams and levels

Preferred

• Electronics engineering or hardware-adjacent academic background
• Background in test & measurement instrumentation
• Experience with FPGA-based systems
• Experience with Python, C#, or setting up CI/CD pipelines from scratch
