Job description

Scopely is looking for a data-driven and creative Senior Social Media Manager to join our Stumble Guys Marketing Team.

At Scopely, we care deeply about what we do and want to inspire play, every day — both through our work environment and through the strong connections we build with our player communities. We are a global team of game lovers developing, publishing, and innovating in the mobile games industry, connecting millions of players worldwide daily.

We are seeking a Senior Social Media Manager to own and lead the social media strategy for Stumble Guys across key platforms. This role combines strategic ownership with hands‑on execution: you will set the direction of our social programs, use data and performance insights to guide decisions, and keep a sharp pulse on platform and culture trends, while collaborating closely with internal teams to support a live product and mentoring teammates and execution partners.

What You Will Do
  • Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and X (Twitter), defining objectives, channel roles, and success metrics.
  • Translate marketing and product goals into clear social media plans aligned with the product roadmap and campaign calendar, setting direction for programs and initiatives across the team.
  • Lead the planning and coordination of social media campaigns and content calendars, ensuring alignment with marketing, product, and live‑ops timelines to drive engagement, reach, and visibility.
  • Define content guidelines, formats, and priorities to ensure consistent, on‑brand execution across platforms.
  • Work closely with a dedicated execution partner to oversee and guide social media content, including daily posting and engagement, providing direction, feedback, and coaching.
  • Be data‑driven: own the social analytics framework, track and report on key KPIs (e.g., reach, engagement rate, follower growth, video views, CTR, sentiment), and turn performance data into clear insights and actionable recommendations.
  • Run structured testing and experimentation (formats, hooks, posting cadence, creators, messaging) and apply the learnings to continuously optimize content and strategy.
  • Benchmark performance against competitors and industry standards, and present regular performance reviews to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Stay ahead of social media trends, platform and algorithm updates, and gaming and pop‑culture conversations, proactively turning them into new content ideas, formats, and trend‑led opportunities that are timely and brand‑safe.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Product, Creative, Performance, and Customer Support teams to align social initiatives, surface updates and announcements, and share relevant community insights, building relationships with stakeholders beyond your primary contacts.
  • Analyze player feedback and sentiment across social platforms to identify trends and interpret player needs, propose solutions, and elevate internal teams when relevant, following up on ongoing action plans.
What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Social Media, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience managing social media accounts and strategy, ideally in gaming, entertainment, or consumer tech, including experience leading or mentoring others.
  • Strong analytical mindset: proven experience using data to drive decisions, with social analytics and reporting tools (e.g., Looker, Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Level Up) and comfort with KPIs, A/B testing, and dashboards.
  • Deep understanding of major social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X) and of how their algorithms, formats, and best practices work.
  • Strong trend knowledge: demonstrated ability to spot, assess, and act quickly and authentically on emerging social, platform, gaming, and pop‑culture trends.
  • Proven experience building, executing, and optimizing social media strategies and campaigns end to end.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to present insights and recommendations to cross‑functional teams and leadership.
  • Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment on complex issues, and set direction for projects.
  • Gaming experience is a plus
