Job summary

NIQ is seeking a seasoned scraping engineer to join its Digital Shelf team. You will design scalable distributed scraping architectures, reverse engineer APIs, and bypass anti-bot measures to extract high-quality data from thousands of domains.

Collaborate with Customer Success, Operations, and Data to deliver fast, actionable insights. Bring 5+ years in Python and large-scale scraping, proficiency with Scrapy/Requests/httpx/Selenium/Playwright, and experience with proxies, TLS tweaks, and

Qualifications

5+ years of experience with Python and large-scale scraping projects.
Deep understanding of anti-bot technologies and bypass methods.
Experience with Scrapy, Requests, httpx, Selenium, Playwright, or headless drivers.
Proficiency handling proxies (residential, datacenter, rotating) and TLS tweaks.
Strong debugging across browser, HTTP traffic, and device interactions.

Responsibilities

Design and build distributed scraping architectures across thousands of domains.
Reverse engineer APIs and mobile apps using Frida, mitmproxy, Charles, burp, etc.
Detect anti-bot measures and build crawlers that appear more human-like.
Lead technical innovation in scraping; prototype new approaches and share knowledge.
Set up anomaly detection and monitoring to catch blockers early.
