Xebia seeks a Senior Scala Engineer to join a highly collaborative engineering environment focused on building performant, scalable solutions using Scala and functional programming principles.

You will work on complex distributed systems, contribute to architecture decisions, and help maintain engineering standards across the team. The role offers 100% remote work and a competitive compensation package.

Formación

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in Scala and functional programming paradigms.
• Experience designing and implementing RESTful web APIs in enterprise environments.
• Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle, including source control, CI/CD, and different testing approaches.

Responsabilidades

• Design and deliver scalable software solutions with a highly collaborative team.
• Lead architecture discussions and drive technical decisions.
• Maintain high code quality through reviews and feedback on designs.
• Contribute to root cause analyses and continuous improvement after production issues.
