HHHub.eu (Taupai, UAB) is seeking a Senior Scala Backend Developer to design and build backend services that process financial operations, events, and projections. You will join a four-engineer team, shaping the architecture of a new FinTech product while improving the reliability and performance of the existing platform.

The role blends hands-on development with architectural decision-making, code reviews, and close collaboration across a distributed team across Europe.

Formación

• Senior backend experience with Scala in production environments.
• Proven ability to design maintainable backend services.
• Experience with PostgreSQL data modelling.
• Experience with distributed systems and asynchronous processing.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Scala 3 and Cats Effect.
• Help define architecture and technical direction for a FinTech product.
• Build reliable workflows for financial operations, domain events, and data projections.
• Apply Event Sourcing, CQRS, and Domain-Driven Design principles.
• Develop data and storage solutions using PostgreSQL, Redis, and MinIO.
• Improve performance, resilience, observability, and maintainability.
• Write automated tests and maintain high engineering standards.
• Review code and provide constructive technical feedback.
• Investigate production issues and deliver fixes.
• Contribute to continued development of the platform.
