Job summary

SMX Services & Consulting, Inc. seeks a highly skilled SAP FICO Senior Consultant to support a major ECC6 rollout while aligning financial and regulatory needs for Spain and Switzerland.

The role blends on-site collaboration with remote flexibility, requiring strong FI/CO expertise and experience with multinational deployments. International travel to Austria is possible as part of the project.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience as a SAP FICO consultant with at least one full ECC6.0 rollout.
• Deep knowledge of service industry finance and controlling processes.
• Expert advice on financial processes, regulatory compliance, IFRS.
• Localization for Spain and Switzerland.
• Willingness to travel internationally as needed.
• Experience integrating SAP with legacy systems.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business processes in a service context and design effective SAP FICO solutions.
• Configure and maintain core FICO functionalities including GL, AP, AR, AA, CO, PS.
• Adapt solutions to ensure compliance with Spanish and Swiss regulations.
• Collaborate with service delivery, operations and finance to optimize processes.
• Participate in all project phases: fit-gap, configuration, testing, training, go-live, support.
• Coordinate with international project teams and travel to Austria as required.
