Sabia Personal in Madrid is seeking a Senior/Leader for Mechanical Equipment to oversee design, selection, testing, commissioning and troubleshooting of equipment packages managed by the Mechanical Department, working within a multicultural Power Generation project environment.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor or Master in Mechanical Engineering, 10+ years of hands-on experience with gas turbines, steam turbines, boilers, condensers and compressors, and demonstrates leadership, commitment

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor or Master in Mechanical Engineering.
• 10+ years of demonstrable experience in machinery and equipment (Gas Turbines, Steam Turbine Generators, Boilers, Condensers, Compressors, Pumps) relevant to Power Generation Projects.
• Experience working in a multicultural, multi-office project environment.
• Strong commitment and proactivity with a results‑driven mindset.
• Leadership with a proven track record of leading successful projects and teams.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with staff, customers, and international audiences.

Aufgaben

• Supervise and develop activities for design, selection, testing, commissioning and troubleshooting of equipment and packages managed by Mechanical Department, ensuring QA/QC and HSE compliance.
• Provide general working guidelines, personal advising and motivation; organize manpower and plan activities as the final owner of quality, delivery time and resources optimization.
• Generate a positive working environment with engineering disciplines, project teams, vendors and Mechanical Department for project success.

Qualifications and desired experience/attributes:

• Bachelor or Master in Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 10 years of demonstrable experience in machinery and equipment (Gas Turbines, Steam Turbine Generators, Boilers, Condensers, Compressors, Pumps,….) and suitable to work in a multicultural environment for Power Generation Projects.
