Scrambly is seeking a Senior React Native Engineer to own high-impact features for iOS and Android, while contributing to a Next.js web platform. You will write performant TypeScript in a modern React Native stack, ensuring stability, speed, and maintainability across a global user base.

Collaborating with Backend, QA, and Product teams, you will influence architecture, reduce technical debt, and drive performance improvements across the mobile and web platforms.

Formación

• 5+ years of software engineering, with at least 4 years focused on React Native.
• Proficient in TypeScript, modern React patterns (Hooks), and the React Native ecosystem.
• Deep understanding of iOS/Android build systems (Gradle, Pods) and Swift/Kotlin debugging.
• Experience with state management libraries (Redux Toolkit, Zustand, TanStack Query).
• Testing: unit/integration (Jest) and E2E testing (Maestro or Detox).
• Strong communication to explain tech concepts to diverse teams.
• Upper-intermediate (B2) or higher English proficiency.
• Next.js experience is a strong plus, with a solid React foundation.

Responsabilidades

• Develop high-quality cross-platform apps using React Native and TypeScript.
• Build reusable UI components and performant lists (e.g., FlashList) matching design specs.
• Integrate backend services via RESTful APIs and WebSockets; debug with Xcode and Android Studio; modify Swift/Kotlin modules as needed.
• Champion code quality via clean, testable TS code and peer reviews; reduce technical debt and expand test coverage.
• Drive scalable architectural decisions for state management and navigation (Redux Toolkit, Zustand, TanStack Query).
• Monitor app stability and crashes using Sentry/Crashlytics; optimize frame rates, memory and battery usage.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines for App Store and Google Play releases; translate technical constraints for non-technical stakeholders.
