Capitole Consulting in Alicante, Spain is seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer to drive automated testing across APIs and user interfaces, ensuring performance, reliability and scale in a fast-paced Agile environment.

You will develop Playwright + TypeScript frameworks, integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines, and collaborate with DevOps and product teams. A strong English proficiency and hands-on QA experience are required. Hybrid work model with initial in-office days.

Formación

• 4+ years of experience in Software Testing and QA.
• Hands-on experience with test automation.
• Experience with API testing and microservices.
• Experience with CI/CD and automation frameworks.
• Strong English (C1) communication.
• ISTQB certification is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Define and execute functional and technical test strategies, scenarios, and test plans.
• Design, maintain, and execute automated tests for APIs and user interfaces.
• Develop and maintain automation frameworks using Playwright and TypeScript.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support Continuous Testing.
• Manage test plans, test execution, defect tracking, and test coverage using Azure DevOps.
• Analyse test results and collaborate with Development, DevOps, Platform, Architecture, and Product teams to identify and resolve quality issues.
• Contribute to test environment and test data management.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Refinement, and PI Planning.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, automation practices, quality metrics, and root cause analysis.
