Align Technology is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer to join the Clinical OPS Services team in Spain.

You will contribute to the development, enhancement, and maintenance of multiple business-critical applications, partnering with product management, QA, DevOps and stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions. The ideal candidate has 8+ years of industry experience, expert Python, solid Java knowledge, and strong English communication.

Formación

• 8+ years of industry development experience.
• Understanding of OOP, data structures, algorithms, bug tracking, code review, unit tests.
• Fluent English communication required.

Responsabilidades

• Support Engineering Manager in implementing incremental changes across applications and projects.
• Design, develop, and enhance components using Python, some Java and AWS.
• Analyze existing systems, investigate dependencies, and identify improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, SQA, and cross-functional teams to refine requirements and deliver features.
• Maintain and improve code health by addressing technical debt and refactoring where needed.
• Monitor performance, stability, and code quality; drive reliability improvements.
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and share engineering best practices.
