A leading affiliate in iGaming is seeking a Backend Engineer to build and maintain scalable backend services primarily using the Django framework. The ideal candidate should have proven experience in backend architecture and API design, as well as familiarity with cloud-native infrastructure and Kubernetes. • Proven experience building and scaling backend systems.
• Strong understanding of backend architecture and API design principles.
• Solid experience with relational and non-relational databases.

What you'll be doing

• Build and maintain scalable backend services, primarily with Django framework

• Handle asynchronous workflows with Celery and RabbitMQ as a message broker

• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code

• Develop and maintain automated tests to ensure service reliability

• Define, manage, and optimize databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, MySQL)

• Collaborate with front-end and other backend teams to ensure seamless integration and responsiveness

• Work with the Kubernetes ecosystem and related tooling (e.g. Vault, ArgoCD)

• Contribute to and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth and reliable deployments

Who we're looking for

• Proven experience building and scaling backend systems

• Strong understanding of backend architecture and API design principles

• Solid experience with relational and non-relational databases

• Familiarity with cloud-native infrastructure and Kubernetes

• Hands-on experience with CI/CD best practices and tooling

• Excellent English communication skills (both written and verbal)

• Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset
