SITA is seeking a seasoned Program Manager to lead complex projects and post‑merger integrations within the Airports Business Unit. You will drive cross‑functional collaboration, build business cases, and manage risks and milestones in a global, fast‑paced environment.

You will report to the Director of the department and work within the Project and Product Office (PPO). Strong English communication and stakeholder management are essential to succeed in this role.

Formación

  • 8+ years leading major Projects and Post‑merger integration initiatives.
  • Experience with global/complex projects and multiple workstreams.
  • Finance background with understanding of business processes and IT/aviation domain helpful.

ABOUT THE ROLE AND THE TEAM

The Airport BU defines the product strategy, manages the roadmap, and is accountable for the portfolios and products P&L, and it is mainly focused on delivering smart, scalable and sustainable solutions that leveraging technology to support the ATI on addressing the challenges of rising passenger and bags volumes to be processed, airport operations complexity and growing demand for seamless journeys.

Reporting to the Director of the department, you will be a part of the Project and Product Office (PPO) of the Airports Business Unit responsible for steering the Business Unit execution drumbeat to support accountability and effectiveness, by enabling seamless strategy execution, product lifecycle management, and performance monitoring through optimized processes, clear frameworks and cross‑functional collaboration.

In this role, you will drive various programs and/or complex project initiatives that meets the needs of our internal and external stakeholders in a fast‑paced environment with colleagues and customers located worldwide.

Success in this role means you are exceptionally attentive to detail are skilled at forecasting and planning deliverables milestones and tasks activities. You possess strong influencing skills and enjoy working with others of diverse backgrounds.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
  • Manage programs and projects, which sizes will vary in scope and complexity. Including major transformation projects and end‑to‑end post‑merger integration projects.
  • Lead cross functional programs and teams
  • In case of post‑merger integration projects, develop integration strategy, set integration guiding principles and create the drive needed to capture the value of the transaction.
  • Manage project workload throughout its life cycle. Focusing on the most critical tasks and align all stakeholders with the objectives. Understand the priorities, operating needs and responsibilities of the different workstreams, and anticipate, plan and solve for cross‑functional interdependencies.
  • Build business cases and develop capacity plans.
  • Recognize and mitigate risks early, reducing bottlenecks that hold up progress.
  • Track project activities against plan schedules and take corrective action against any deviations.
  • Proactively work with management and different stakeholders to ensure that each project goal and objective is met with satisfaction
  • Facilitate effective communication across teams and stakeholders, providing clarity on goals, risks, and decisions.
  • Build cross‑functional relationships and bridge the operations of different functions underlying priorities of each function.
  • Build out a critical path as well as must haves to pick out the smallest details or risks that could have a major impact on the integration.
  • Project Management administration: responsibilities ranges from developing communications, strategy plans, designing resource and project plans, providing status reports, submitting and tracking change requests, tracking risks and issues, providing variance reports, Steering Committee reports and lessons learned. Accuracy is key.
Qualifications
ABOUT YOUR SKILLS
  • 8+ years of experience in leading teams to execute Major Projects and Post‑ merge M&A integration Experience
  • Strong Project Management experience, ideally with global or complex projects
  • Background in finance and understanding of the business processes and functional areas.
  • Experience working in a demanding environment with highly motivated and driven professionals
  • Global or multi‑national business experience preferred
  • You have experience with an IT solutions or aviation/airports industry solutions provider.
  • You have a proven track record of success in managing multiple large‑scope, complex projects and programs with multiple workstreams, including challenging budgets, timelines, and deliverables within a commercial environment
  • You have strong leadership, technical and organizational skills to support the team towards the project goals
  • You have integrity, high energy, and superior analytical and problem‑solving skills
  • You have experience presenting confidently in front of senior management, customers and various leadership levels. Exceptional Communication Skills in English is a must, any additional European language is a plus
  • You have direct experience leading and driving end‑to‑end integration projects for company acquisitions, covering all relevant elements (financial, IT, product, people and operational aspects)
  • You are a collaborative Team Player – Demonstrates strong ability to work effectively within diverse teams to achieve shared goals.
  • You have a proven experience in Stakeholder Management. Ability to influence corporate opinion and key stakeholders and to make timely decisions
  • Ability to understand the big picture, with an eye for detail.
  • MBA or relevant graduate degree or similar academic / professional experience
  • Formal project management training and certification - PMP certified
