A leading IT solutions provider in air transport is looking for an experienced Project Manager to join their team in Madrid. The role involves leading projects focused on customer billing solutions and Security, ensuring that project requirements, budgets, and timelines are adhered to. Candidates should have a strong background in IT project management, be proficient in Agile methodologies, and fluent in both English and Spanish. This is a contract position with potential for extension or a permanent role.

Formación

• Experience in managing medium-to-large scale IT projects.
• Understanding of project governance including budget and timeline management.
• Ability to articulate internal requirements and recommend delivery strategies.

Project Manager

My client is the air transport industry's IT provider, delivering solutions for airlines, airports, aircraft, and governments. Their technology powers more seamless, safe, and sustainable air travel.

They are looking to hire an experienced Project Manager to join on a contract basis for 12 months, with the potential for further extension or a permanent role.

Working within a wider team of Project Managers you will lead projects focused on customer billing solutions and Security.

Manage the project throughout its life cycle - from project scoping, planning, to delivery, to transition to operations, and finally project closure ensuring expected outcome to stakeholders and business.

• Understand and articulate internal requirements and recommend options (plan, delivery strategy, budget, schedule, risks, etc.) Ensure project requirements, deadlines, budgets and schedules are on track.
• Lead the project governance (status report, gates presentations, communications, risk mitigation process) and manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs as per the existing PMO governance.
• Manage project communication and stakeholders’ relationship.
• IT Project Management experience in medium-to-large scale programs (projects are quite technical)
• Background in project governance (budget, scope, timeline, reporting).
• Proficient in Agile / Hybrid project delivery
• Strong stakeholder management and communication — able to work with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Fluent in English & Spanish
