K-LAGAN is seeking a Project Manager to lead the design, development, and implementation of automated material handling systems for industrial clients. The role focuses on cross-disciplinary coordination across mechanical, electrical, and software teams.

Candidate will translate requirements into specs, manage budgets and schedules, and ensure on-site installation and commissioning in Madrid with international travel. Proficiency in English required.

Formación

• Bachelors or Masters in Engineering relevant field.
• Experience managing or supporting engineering projects, esp. automation or intralogistics.
• Solid knowledge of RFQ, cost estimation and budgeting.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical system design.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Proficient in English, written and spoken.
• Available to work on-site in Madrid and travel internationally.

Position Overview

We are seeking a Project Manager, the selected candidate will be responsible for the technical design, development, and implementation of automated material handling solutions for industrial clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the technical design and development of customized automated material handling systems.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources , ensuring adherence to technical and financial targets.
• Coordinate and review RFQ (Request for Quotation) documentation, preparing detailed cost estimations and feasibility analyses.
• Translate customer requirements into functional system designs and technical specifications.
• Collaborate with internal engineering teams (mechanical, electrical, software) to ensure alignment across all project stages.
• Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning phases, ensuring compliance with project objectives.
• Serve as a technical interface with customers, suppliers, and subcontractors, ensuring clear communication and smooth execution.
• Identify potential risks and propose corrective or preventive actions during the project lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field) .
• Experience in managing or supporting engineering projects, ideally in automation, intralogistics, or material handling systems .
• Solid knowledge of RFQ processes , cost estimation, and project budgeting.
• Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems design , including integration of automated equipment.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
• Availability to work on-site in Madrid and occasionally travel internationally.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in automated storage systems, conveyors, robotics, or warehouse logistics .
• Familiarity with SAP, AutoCAD, or similar engineering tools .
• Experience managing international projects with multiple stakeholders.

The expected salary range for this position is €35,000–€41,000 gross per annum. However, the final offer will be aligned with the candidate's level of experience, technical capabilities, skills, and the value they can bring to the project.
