Job summary

Cap Ingelec in Spain seeks a Project Director to lead major Datacenter and industrial building projects. Based primarily on site, you will define objectives, coordinate diverse expert teams, and report on progress and risk to the PMO and steering committees.

You bring an electrical, mechanical, or civil engineering degree and at least 10 years’ experience managing complex projects internationally. Proficiency in Spanish and English is required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience managing complex, multi-disciplinary industrial building projects.
• Strong leadership skills and Team coordination abilities.
• Solid expertise in analytical project management, risk and opportunity anticipation.
• Proficiency in Spanish and English, with international project exposure.

Responsibilities

• Strategic project management: define objectives (quality, cost, timeline, safety) and implement management frameworks.
• Team coordination and leadership: structure project team, define roles, foster collaboration.
• Operational monitoring and reporting: oversee progress with PMO, feed into steering committees.
• Ensure compliance with contractual commitments and regulatory requirements.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships and represent the company to external partners.
• Contribute to evolution of project management practices and internal transformations.
