Job summary

Hill International, Inc. seeks an experienced Project Controls Manager to support major infrastructure delivery in Valencia, Spain. The role focuses on establishing robust controls across programme, cost, risk, change, reporting and performance management.

Ideal candidates will have 10+ years in project controls on large infrastructure projects and fluency in Spanish and English, with advanced knowledge of Primavera P6 and MS Project. Equal opportunity employment is upheld.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or similar.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in project controls, planning, cost management or project management.
• Strong experience on major infrastructure, industrial or complex construction projects.
• Advanced knowledge of Primavera P6, MS Project and project reporting tools.
• Strong understanding of cost control, earned value, risk management and change control.
• Experience working with FIDIC or similar construction contracts would be valued.
• Professional fluency in Spanish and English.

Responsibilities

• Establish and manage project controls systems, processes and reporting structures.
• Lead programme, cost, risk, change and performance monitoring activities.
• Develop and maintain integrated project schedules, dashboards and progress reports.
• Review contractor programmes, progress updates, recovery plans and change impacts.
• Support the Project Director and client team with evidence-based decision-making.
• Coordinate project controls information across technical, commercial, contractual and delivery teams.
• Identify trends, risks, deviations and corrective actions.
• Prepare clear, concise and reliable reports for clients and senior stakeholders.
