Mott MacDonald in Spain seeks a Process Engineer to design Water/Wastewater treatment solutions, support modelling, and ensure safe, compliant engineering deliverables. The role requires a degree in water/wastewater engineering, relevant experience, and a postgraduate qualification such as CIWEM or MSc.

Formación

• Educated to degree level in water/wastewater process science/engineering related subject.
• Experience of process engineering.
• Demonstrable experience in water/wastewater and biosolids treatment.
• Postgraduate qualification such as CIWEM or a relevant MSc.
• Member of a professional body.
• Advanced level of English / ability to work in English.
• Willing to travel to UK on regular basis.

Responsabilidades

• Process design of Water/Wastewater Treatment Plants and/or sewerage/water systems.
• Incorporate modelling results where required.
• Ensure quality of work and contribute to team effectiveness.
• Incorporate process safety principles including LOPA and DSEAR.
• Comply with POSWSH/POSWASTE.
• Collaborate with the design team to develop 3D models and solutions.
• Carry out process calculations, hydraulics, unit processes, pump calcs, capacity calculations.
• Prepare data sheets and technical bid analyses of third-party equipment.
• Support the Process Discipline Head to drive excellence in H&S and CDM compliance.
• Ensure technical work meets standards and MAS requirements.
• Maintain quality and consistency of engineering documents.
• Coordinate with lead team members to check and approve deliverables.
• Communicate at all levels to ensure technical excellence is understood.
