Job summary

Cytel is seeking a Senior/Principal Statistical Programmer (SAS + R) to work remotely, embedded with a pharmaceutical client. The role focuses on end-to-end programming for SDTM/ADaM data, tables, listings, and graphs, with oversight of CRO programmers and collaboration across internal and external partners.

The successful candidate will have 7+ years in biostatistics programming, strong SAS/R skills, CDISC expertise, and experience with regulatory submissions; independent work and leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in CS/Data Science/Math/Stats.
• 7+ years as Statistical Programmer in Biotech/Pharma.
• Exceptional SAS programming skills in CDISC SDTM/ADaM.
• Experience supporting regulatory submissions with FDA/ICH.
• Ability to work independently and lead.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Generate SDTM, ADaM specifications, datasets, reviewer's guides, and define.xml.
• Develop SAS programs for datasets, listings, tables, and graphs.
• Deliver high-quality SAS/R programs for clinical data analyses.
• Oversee CRO programmers to meet timelines and quality standards.
• Support preparation of clinical study reports and regulatory submissions.
• Follow FDA regulations and electronic submission guidelines.
• Create and validate programming standards, tools, and macros.
• Collaborate with CROs, vendors and clinical teams to meet goals.
• Draft SOPs and work instructions for programming practices.
