Job summary

Cytel is looking for a Senior/Principal Statistical Programmer to work remotely, embedded with a global pharmaceutical client. You will implement reporting and analysis activities for sponsor trials, lead SAS and R programming, and oversee CRO deliverables.

The role requires extensive CDISC expertise, independent work style, and strong communication/leadership skills to drive high-quality submissions and study reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, mathematics, or statistics (preferred).
• 7+ years of experience as a Statistical Programmer in Biotech/Pharma clinical development.
• Exceptional SAS programming skills in a clinical development environment.
• Extensive experience with CDISC standards (SDTM, ADaM, Define.xml) and regulatory guidelines.
• Experience supporting regulatory submissions and interactions with FDA or global authorities.
• Ability to work independently and lead programming efforts with minimal supervision.
• Strong written and verbal communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Generate SDTM, ADaM specifications, datasets, reviewer’s guide and define.xml across studies.
• Develop SAS programs to create datasets, listings, tables and graphs, including complex stats.
• Deliver high-quality SAS/R programming outputs for clinical development programs.
• Oversee CRO programming deliverables to meet timelines.
• Support preparation of clinical study reports and regulatory submissions.
• Follow FDA regulations and GCP for electronic submissions.
• Contribute to standards for programming tools and documentation.
• Assist in CRF and edit check specifications and data validation plans.
• Collaborate with CROs, vendors and partners to meet project goals.
• Develop SOPs and work instructions for programming practices.
