Job summary

Nordex Group in Spain is seeking a Senior Power Platform & Data Solutions Lead to maintain and evolve the Microsoft Power Platform and data solutions used to manage the global Engineering project and resource portfolio. The role combines hands-on solution development, data modelling, automation and analytics, with technical leadership across Engineering and adjacent functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, CS, IS, Data Analytics, BI, or related field.
• 5-7 years in business apps, data analytics, BI, automation; at least 3 years with Power Platform.
• Power Platform certifications (PL-400, PL-200, PL-600, DP-600 or equivalent) are assets.
• End-to-end design, development, deployment and maintenance of Power Platform solutions: Power Apps, Dataverse, Power Automate, Power BI, Excel.
• Strong analytical, communication, autonomy, and ability to work in an international environment.
• Experience with AI, big data, Microsoft Fabric, Python, ML is a plus.
• Fluent in English; Spanish and German are a plus.
• Spanish degree equivalency recognition is required for foreign qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, support and improve Power Platform-based apps, automations and reporting solutions.
• Lead the technical implementation of digitalization initiatives across Engineering and adjacent functions (Finance, R&D, Operations).
• Design and develop business applications; manage data modelling and governance.
• Integrate with Planner Premium and other data sources (ERP/PLM).
• Automate processes with Power Automate and deliver Power BI analytics.
• Collaborate with global stakeholders across Spain, Germany, India and others; provide guidance and training.
• Coordinate external IT service providers and ensure service quality.

Your Profile

• Bachelor’s* or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Software Engineering, Telecommunications, Mathematics, Physics or a comparable field
• Minimum 5-7 years of professional experience in business applications, data analytics, BI, process automation or similar fields, including at least 3 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform
• Specialization in the Microsoft Power Platform technology stack will be highly valued. Microsoft certifications related to Power Platform, Azure, Data, AI or Microsoft 365 will be considered an advantage, particularly PL-400, PL-200, PL-600, DP-600 or equivalent certifications
• Proven proficiency and hands-on experience in the end-to-end design, development, deployment and maintenance of Power Platform solutions, including Power Apps, Dataverse, Power Automate, Power BI and advanced Excel
• Strong analytical mindset, structured communication skills and ability to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions. The candidate should be autonomous, proactive, well organized and comfortable working in an international environment.
• Experience with AI, big data, Microsoft Fabric, Python, machine learning or advanced analytics will be considered a plus
• Fluent in English. Spanish & German would be a plus
• For foreign qualifications, recognition as the corresponding Spanish degree equivalency is required when applying.
