STACKIT seeks a technical leader to own the PostgreSQL Flex Service across multiple product teams. You will guide architectural decisions, touch code and configurations, and drive robust DBaaS within a cloud ecosystem.

You will mentor engineers, foster collaboration, and lead automation of deployment, patching, and scaling via REST APIs, ensuring reliability and data integrity across services.

Formación

• Proven leadership experience guiding engineering teams to success with psychological safety.
• Strong expertise in PostgreSQL and other DBMS, including high availability and replication.
• Expertise in distributed systems from code to cloud deployment.
• Fluent in cloud-native environments and Kubernetes-based infrastructures.

Responsabilidades

• Own the 'How' for the PostgreSQL Flex Service across product teams; lead by example.
• Shape the future of Managed Database Services with robust, scalable Postgres solutions.
• Drive automation of deployment, patching, and scaling via REST APIs.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to recruiting and building an world-class team.
• Implement SRE practices for reliability, performance, and data integrity.
• Bridge engineering with business stakeholders and Architecture Board work groups.
