Qualifications

• Several years of professional PHP development experience.

Role Description

As a Senior PHP Developer at Setexe, you will design, develop, and maintain robust back‑end systems and APIs that power web and mobile applications. You will translate business requirements into technical solutions, write clean and efficient PHP code, and implement object‑oriented designs and best practices. Daily responsibilities include collaborating with front‑end developers and designers, integrating third‑party services, optimizing application performance, and ensuring security and scalability. You will review code, mentor other developers, participate in architecture discussions, and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes. This is a full‑time, remote role that requires proactive communication and effective collaboration across distributed teams.

Qualifications

• Strong Back‑End Web Development skills, including PHP frameworks and API design.
• Solid understanding of Object‑Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and design patterns.
• Experience with Front‑End Development concepts and integration (HTML, CSS, JavaScript frameworks).
• Proficiency in Software Development practices, including version control, testing, and deployment.
• Advanced Programming skills with a focus on clean, maintainable, and secure code.
• Experience with databases (SQL/NoSQL), caching, and performance optimization.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization is beneficial.
