Job summary

EDP is seeking a Senior Data Platform Engineer to own the Interstellar DataHub, shaping data architecture and automated pipelines in a hybrid work model spanning Madrid and Porto. You will collaborate with stakeholders to deliver scalable data solutions leveraging Databricks, Spark, Delta Lake, and cloud-native technologies.

The role requires strong expertise in data engineering, CI/CD, and data governance, with a focus on reliability, security, and performance across operational reporting

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
• Experience with Databricks in data engineering, analytics, or BI.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python and cloud-native data architectures.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end management of the Operational Interstellar DataHub and ensure availability and scalability.
• Design, implement, and optimize data models, tables, and views in Databricks.
• Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines and data integration processes.
