Cognizant in Madrid is seeking a passionate Node & React Engineer to help design, develop and maintain scalable web applications and digital platforms in a fast-paced international environment.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build robust backend services with Node.js and modern front-end apps with React and TypeScript, leveraging cloud-native architectures across AWS and Azure. Strong analytical and communication skills in English are required.

Formación

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong experience with JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with Node.js and React development.
• Experience developing RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Knowledge of SQL and/or NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with AWS and/or Azure.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and collaborative software development.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Professional proficiency in English.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Node.js and modern frameworks such as Express or NestJS.
• Build responsive, user-friendly front-end applications using React and TypeScript.
• Integrate third-party services, APIs, and microservices architectures.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Product Owners, Architects, QA Engineers, and UX teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following software engineering best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Optimize application performance, security, and scalability.
• Support CI/CD processes and cloud deployments across AWS and Azure environments.
• Work within Agile teams, contributing to sprint planning, estimations, and delivery activities.
