ALZURA Pay is seeking a Senior Node.js Developer to design and build scalable backend services powering our payment platform. You will work in a small, autonomous Scrum team, shaping the software architecture and delivering secure, high-performance systems using Node.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, Redis, Docker and AWS.

This is a hybrid role with modern hardware and a generous training budget to support your growth.

Formación

• Several years of professional experience as a Node.js Backend Developer.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Solid understanding of software architecture and backend design principles.
• In-depth knowledge of PostgreSQL, including SQL optimization and query performance tuning.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, event-driven architectures and message queues (AWS SQS or RabbitMQ).
• Hands-on experience with AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, S3, SQS, SAM).
• Proficiency in Docker and Docker Compose.
• Familiarity with Redis and caching concepts.
• Proficient English.

Responsabilidades

• Professional software development using Node.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, Redis, Docker, AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, S3, SQS, SAM), REST APIs, and event-driven architectures.
• AI supported development process with Claude.
• Active shaping of the software architecture and contributions to design decisions.
• Developing, testing, and documenting the planned functionality.
• Working in a small, self-reliant Scrum team.
• Documentation of planning and implementation processes in Jira and Confluence.
