Frontiers Media SA is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer with a backend lean to join the RTM team. You will own complex backend systems, lead end-to-end features, and drive production reliability for a distributed .NET/Vue/Nuxt platform.

You will mentor peers, shape architecture, and ensure scalable, high-performance experiences for researchers worldwide. The role emphasizes autonomy and technical leadership, with a hybrid work setup in Madrid.

Formación

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, with deep expertise in .NET Core / .NET Framework
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with modern frontend frameworks (Vue 3 a plus) and fundamentals of JavaScript, CSS, HTML
• Strong expertise in Vue.js (Vue 2 and Vue 3), with state management and component-based architecture
• Strong expertise in SQL Server: performance tuning, indexing strategies, query optimization, and troubleshooting production issues
• Extensive experience designing and implementing REST APIs
• Experience or strong interest in applying AI to product features and engineering workflows
• Experience owning complex, distributed system architectures
• Solid understanding of microservices and micro-frontend concepts
• Comfortable working in Kanban
• Collaborative with autonomy and ownership in a hybrid environment
• Nice to have: Nuxt, GraphQL, NoSQL, RabbitMQ/Kafka, Docker/Kubernetes, CI/CD (GitHub Actions/Azure DevOps)

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance web applications using .NET Core/.NET, Vue.js, and Nuxt.
• Modernise and replace legacy systems by migrating Angular applications to Vue/Nuxt stack.
• Own full-stack projects end-to-end from specification through delivery and production monitoring.
• Collaborate with product managers, architects, and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and determine implementation strategy.
• Work within a multinational, cross-functional team to deliver software aligned with business needs.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while upholding engineering best practices.
• Ensure quality through robust testing and code review.
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and responsiveness.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical challenges across distributed systems.
• Leverage AI tooling to improve quality, speed, and consistency of work.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and bring fresh ideas to keep stack modern.
• Maintain a business-oriented mindset focused on measurable outcomes for end-users
