Responsibilities

• Collaborate in a cross‑functional team, adopting agile methodologies within a DevOps‑centric framework
• Design, implement, deploy, release, and monitor team applications, while participating in pull request reviews
• Understand business objectives by engaging with colleagues from various divisions of our client
• Participate in planning and feature refinement sessions alongside your team
• Partner with Solution Architects to design solutions aligned with Julius Baer's architecture vision
• Contribute to our Software Engineering communities by sharing expertise and supporting peers
• Deliver high‑quality code consistent with client guidelines and standards

Requirements

• A Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Design, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
• Proven background in backend software engineering with .NET Core and Entity Framework
• Proficiency in RESTful APIs, SQL databases (MSSQL, Oracle, Postgres), and service‑oriented architectures
• Skills in streaming technologies like Kafka and Avro
• Knowledge of .NET Core and Framework, Entity Framework, service‑oriented architecture, RESTful services, SQL (MSSQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL), Angular, React, both JavaScript and TypeScript, Kubernetes (PKS) and Virtual Machines, Streaming with Kafka, Avro, Open API, UML
• Familiarity with TDD, BDD, and robust automated testing strategies
• Understanding of DevOps principles, including CI/CD pipelines and Kubernetes
• Enthusiasm for continuous learning and contributing to technological advancement
• A pragmatic, proactive approach with an open and entrepreneurial mindset
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with peers and stakeholders
