Job summary

Vitrolife Group is seeking an hands‑on API Developer to join our Valencia API Team, delivering robust .NET APIs in a hybrid setup. You will design, build, and maintain API surfaces, emphasizing security, observability, and scalable architectures across domains.

You will collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, Security and Platform teams to ensure reliable services and timely delivery, while mentoring peers and driving best practices in API development.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience as a .NET API developer.
• Experience designing, building, and consuming REST and/or gRPC APIs.
• Knowledge of OpenAPI/Swagger, contract testing, API gateways, and security best practices.
• Cloud experience with Azure or AWS.
• DevOps, CI/CD, automated testing, and observability know-how.
• Strong collaboration with security, privacy, and EA teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and evolve API architecture with contracts, versioning, security and observability.
• Break down features into technical tasks and actionable work items.
• Implement REST and/or gRPC APIs with thorough testing (unit, integration, contract).
• Lead or contribute to sprint planning and technical refinement.
• Maintain DevOps pipelines, CI/CD, monitoring, and operational readiness.
• Collaborate with Platform, Security, and Enterprise Architecture teams.
• Mentor peers and raise the technical bar across the team.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks, dependencies and debt.
• Support incident resolution and root cause analysis.
