Job summary

Plume is hiring for a senior ML/AI role focusing on leading ML/LLM projects, transforming large-scale network and device telemetry, and delivering robust models. The candidate will collaborate with engineering and product teams to productionize analytics and ensure ongoing model performance in a cloud-based environment.

We seek hands-on experts with strong Python, SQL, and data science library experience, plus AWS Sagemaker knowledge.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership of AI projects with end-to-end ownership.
• Hands-on ML/LLM experience and implementation.
• Strong Python programming and core data science libraries.
• Solid SQL for complex queries and data aggregation.
• Experience transforming high-volume data into usable inputs.
• Deep knowledge of feature extraction and selection.
• Solid foundations in statistics and ML theory.
• Ability to scope requirements and deliver high-quality results on tight timelines.
• Excellent cross-team communication and collaboration.
• Experience with AWS cloud services (Sagemaker, S3).

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop and own ML/LLM projects and automations.
• Prepare and transform large telemetry datasets for modeling.
• Design feature engineering strategies to boost accuracy and robustness.
• Use SQL and Python to build analytical pipelines and reproducible results.
• Translate business needs into analytical tasks and plans.
• Build and evaluate models for anomaly detection, forecasting, optimization.
• Collaborate with engineering/product to productionize models and monitor performance.
• Balance exploration with execution under tight schedules.
• Contribute to MLOps workflows for deployment and monitoring.
