Jobgether, listing on behalf of a partner company, seeks a Senior ML Engineer (AI Research) based in Spain to advance applied AI research and develop advanced intelligent systems. You will tackle RL, agentic systems, reasoning models, and scalable training across multiple compute nodes using Python and JAX, collaborating with researchers and engineers to translate findings into practical AI capabilities.

• Significant professional experience in machine learning engineering, applied AI research, or a closely related field at senior or staff level.
• Deep understanding of theoretical foundations of ML and RL.
• Experience training large-scale models across multiple computational nodes.
• Strong software engineering with Python.
• Hands-on experience with modern DL frameworks, especially JAX.
• Ability to design, execute and analyze ML experiments with statistical rigor.
• Excellent English clinical writing and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct applied ML research across areas like RL, agentic systems, reasoning models, and model distillation.
• Design experiments to train large language models from diverse environments.
• Explore guided generation and search within model trajectories.
• Develop scalable methods to incorporate large-scale data into post-training workflows.
• Collaborate with researchers and engineers to deploy findings into practical AI capabilities.
• Lead and mentor while contributing hands-on engineering for AI research initiatives.
