Haybury in Spain is seeking a Senior Medical Writer (Inflammation) to support development of scientific content across publications and slide decks. The role requires 3–5 years of medical writing, a strong background in inflammation, and excellent English communication. Hybrid work in Spain with an indefinite contract is offered.

You will produce content, update materials, and ensure accuracy through peer reviews and stakeholder approvals, contributing to high-quality scientific communication.

Formación

• 3–5 years of medical writing experience in Pharma or agency.
• Excellent medical writing skills with focus on inflammation.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple detailed tasks.
• Fluent in English with strong communication skills.

Job Role

The Scientific Medical Writer will support the development of scientific content creation:

• Medical Information Support: Production of new global standard scientific response content (gSSRC)
• Publications Support: Production of abstracts, posters, manuscripts
• Other scientific content: Scientific slide decks, Q&As, study summari

Responsibilities

• Production of scientific content
• Update of existing content
• Adjust content according to the feedback received during review cycles
• Obtain final approval from the relevant stakeholders
• Perform peer reviews for style and accuracy and for continuous improvement purposes

Requirements

• Experienced Medical Writer (3-5 years), with a scientific background and degree (PharmD, MD, PhD or Masters), at least 3 years producing scientific content for Pharma or an agency
• Strong experience with publications and slide decks
• Excellent medical writing skills with strong experience in the area of inflammation
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy, ability to manage and prioritize multiple, detailed activities, results-orientated with fast and focused execution
• Good communication, coordination and time management skills
• Fluent in oral and written English with high level of communication skills
