INBRAIN Neuroelectronics in Barcelona is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead the mechanical design and development of an implantable component within our product, coordinating with electronics, systems, quality and regulatory teams.

You will drive a full development cycle for active implantable medical devices, work with external partners and ensure ISO13485/ISO14971 compliance, reliability testing and documentation.

Formación

• 5+ years in MedTech across a full development cycle.
• Experience in multidisciplinary medical devices.
• 2+ years leading a mechanical engineering sub-project.
• Strong practical mechanical engineering for production.
• Familiar with SolidWorks and design tooling.

Responsabilidades

• Lead design, assembly, prototyping of implantable mechanical components with cross-team collaboration.
• Design for reliability, manufacture and test including FEM and modelling.
• Document device design (BOM, drawings, specs, test plan) per ISO13485/ISO14971.
• Coordinate with external partners for outsourced design/assembly/test.
• Define test plans to verify safety and mechanical performance with teams.
• Create bench test setups and perform characterization and integration tests.
• Develop test plans to validate mechanical designs from requirements.
• Participate in design and milestone reviews.
• Apply DFM/DFR/DFT concepts in design and modelling.
• Work with Quality, Regulatory, Clinical and PM on product development and stage reviews.
